Dawn is a gorgeous tabby girl who was rescued along with her mama and sister from an extremely busy car park in East Wall. Dawn was absolutely terrified when she came into our care, but is coming around slowly but surely. She is still learning to trust humans, and prefers not to be touched and will run away when approached. If you touch her and she cannot escape, she just tries to avoid the touch but shows absolutely no aggression. Dawn will sometimes climb into her foster mam’s bed and play with her legs.
Dawn is one of those cats that is focused more on other cats than humans. She loves her foster mam’s resident kitty, and will follow her around the house and snuggle up to her on the couch. She likes to play with any kind of toy or ball, and loves chasing around the red laser light dot!
Dawn surprised her foster mam recently by letting her rub her and purring for the very first time! We think with lots of time and patience all Dawn’s fears will be melted away.
Dawn would suit a home with an experienced adopter who is willing and able to continue Dawn’s socialisation and help her build trust. We would prefer her to go to a home with a confident resident kitty who has a close relationship with the adopter so Dawn can learn by example.
