**Unbelievably Elsie is still available!** She really deserves the very best retirement home with someone who will love her as she deserves. My name is Elsie and I am a lady of mature years (10+). When I came into the pound I was in poor shape and very tired – I had had lots of babies over the years. A Dog’s life got me out to Moss Vets where I was diagnosed with a heart murmur . The nice vets there started me on some heart medication and in a short time I was flying fit again and like a new dog..
I am a sweet and gentle girl and good with all other dogs. Despite my years I like to play and am always in the middle of all the action. I am good on lead, in the car and house trained. I love my walks but as I am an older lady I like a slower pace. I also like my home comforts and beauty sleep. I am not a fan of cats though – pesky things so a cat free home please! My ideal home would be with adults where I can live out my days with lots of love and in good company and with a few short walks a day or a good sized garden to explore. Another 1-2 dogs would be ok too but not too many as I like a quieter life. I am very affectionate and love the cuddles.
I am fully vaccinated and micro-chipped (972274001248316) but not neutered as given my heart condition the ladies at A Dog’s Life did not want to put me through major surgery. I am hale and hearty though. I am on daily medication for my heart which A Dog’s Life can provideand pay for through Moss Vets in Naas once I find my forever home.
There is plenty of life in me yet and I intend to live it to the full. If you can offer me a suitable forever home please go to www.adogslife.ie and fill out adoption form. As I am an older lady A Dog’s Life are not looking for an adoption fee for me…..just the very best retirement home.
